When the going gets tough

So much emotions run through your mind and body that we most times let it control us, generally it’s when your sad,angry, depressed or even bored.

The moment you’ve let the opportunity of your emotions take control of you, resorting to eating as comfort makes it all go away ... temporally 😞

Talking to someone that supports you goes a long way, if you don’t have anyone reachable you can take a step back from what’s bugging you and reassess.

When shit goes sideways with me, I generally go through a series of exercises to get a sweat on - reason for that is if you haven’t heard already that exercises releases a chemical that makes you feel better called endorphins 😃 and enough of it will brighten up your situation and more so give you a chance to cool off and plan your next move.

For example. Stuck at home babysitting the 2yr kid, I’m bored and irritated as shit because of what kids do and I take a step back with my emotions thinking about how much worse my situation can be to not lead me to a path of emotional eating.

Truthfully I ended taking an edible and woohoo problem solved 😆
