I drew in inspiration from a poem by Louis Carroll, the original alice of Alice in Wonderland, the mirror book of mirrors, "Golden Afternoon".
A bright afternoon in July, a calm and happy time. I think it was like a very important hope in my life.

I was investigating the golden afternoon, and a passage that remained impressively in the clause in this interpretation article

Life, what is it but a dream?

A passage called. It is also superimposed on a passage of Shakespeare.

We are such stuff as dreams are made on,
And our little life is rounded with a sleep.

I do not remember well, but at the scene where Walter appears even in the drama FRINGE season 1, a song similar to this passage is flowing.

"Life = dream" is that if all experiences gained through experiences through their own eyes are all realities, will they distinguish between fancies and stories from reality? Is that the question?
Or perhaps a slight scary question, "The reality you are seeing may be all the dreams someone sees (vision)."

Somehow it seems like the inside of my mind will be secretly brought down, and if the reality is not so different from the fantasy, I also feel the hope of not being impossible.
If you think so, I wonder if I can spend a little fun with this boring day.

不思議の国のアリス、鏡の国のアリスの原典であるルイス・キャロルの「黄金の午後」の詩からインスピレーションを受けて描きました。
７月の明るい昼下がり、穏やかで幸福な時間。それは人生のなかでとても大切な希望のようなものだったんだろうなぁと思うのです。

黄金の午後について調べていて、この解釈記事の中にある文節で印象的に残った一節が

Life, what is it but a dream?（人生、それはただの夢？）

という一節。シェイクスピアの一節とも重ね合わされています。

We are such stuff as dreams are made on,　　　　我らみな　夢と同質
And our little life is rounded with a sleep.　　　　　我らの命は　眠りの中

よく覚えてないのですが、ドラマのFRINGEのシーズン１でもウォルターが出てくる場面でこの一節に似た歌が流れていて。

「人生＝夢」であるというのは、自分の目を通して、体験を通して得た経験がすべて現実とするならば、空想や物語と、現実に区別など付くのだろうか？という問いですね。
あるいは、「今あなたが見ている現実が、全て誰かが見ている夢（幻）かもしれない。」というちょっと怖い問いかけかもしれないですね。

なんだか心の中がごっそり持っていかれるような気持ちになりつつ、もし、現実が空想とそれほど変わりがないのなら、不可能なことなどないのではないか、という希望も感じるのです。
そう思えば、この退屈な日常もちょっと楽しく過ごせそうかな、なんて。
