If the price of electricity goes beyond the reach of people, the cost will increase in all cases.

When the present government came to power, the highest priority was given to power generation. For this reason, they encouraged the private sector as well as the private sector to come forward in the generation of electricity. In the last few years, several rental power stations have started working in various places in the country. Naturally, the cost of production of electricity is more. In spite of the objection to the respective councils and customers, the rental power station is currently a reality, which is connected to the national grid. Power generation has also increased. Although the road to the construction of Rooppur nuclear power plant, the government has given a special emphasis on the production of coal-based power plants. Alongside the government sector, the private sector has come forward enthusiastically. Currently, 20,000 megawatts of total electricity generation capacity including import, captive and other sectors. According to the master plan, this capability will stand in 24 thousand and 20 thousand 40 thousand megawatts in 2021. The circulation line is 11,333 km². The government is currently importing electricity from West Bengal and Tripura of India and is willing to import electricity from Nepal and Bhutan in the near future. The reality is that at the rate at which rate of electricity is increasing and the electricity production is increasing, the transmission line can not be drawn. If the combination of transmission line and connectivity with electricity is not regular, electricity will not be able to reach home from home. Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB), a state-run operating company engaged in this work, can not connect to the transmission line due to the lack of manpower and financing. Being a government institution, bureaucratic complications are also there. In that situation, the government wants to involve private entrepreneurs in the transmission of power. The electricity division has already taken plans to build two transmission lines through a private company. One of Cox's Bazaar's Maheshkhali to Maduna Ghat and the other from Raozan in Chittagong to Mirsarai. One of the projects is a bidder financing company and the other is proposed to be implemented in the IPP process. PGCB will supervise two projects. It is to be noted that, two years ago, Switzerland and India-based two companies showed interest in building the transmission line in Bangladesh.

But there are different opinions on different mahalee. According to the victims, the price of electricity is more in the country. Electricity prices of quick rental will be higher as imported coal and fuel oil prices are high. There are criticisms about this. The cost of transmission lines in the private sector will cost more. According to the experienced generation, it will not be logical to rely on private sector for the transmission of 20,000 megawatts of electricity. If done then the transmission sector like the production sector in the rental model will be given to the private sector. Capacity charge will be imposed, which is against public interest. As a result, there is a possibility of increasing the price of electricity.

If the price of electricity goes beyond the reach of people, the cost will increase in all cases. It is preferable to have the power of electricity to improve the continuity of development and progress, whether it is government or private sector.
