& u can have high altitutude... u could make it crazy higher if its a electro magnetic drone... like super high voltages with a powerful power source generally not aviable maybe on alot of earth to public just yet?

batteries= tesla or 1 new ones coming out our 1 in type u can buy in drone battery size from china
power source= alt additional power small 1 or more piezoelectric moduels -- from air temp diff.. so maybe just use that instead of solar? or a combination of both so u can fly 24/7 even at night for hours!
if nothing else easy option is just bring piezelectric moduels rigged toegher properly and charge spent battery ... so u fly again in like 1~3 hours...
course there's batteries u can recharge with just water coming out finally!

Also note= larger the better generally because unless u have a device that comensates for wind it can be pretty bad on small quadcopter drones even planes.... notice u almost never see anyone fly in stormy weather i did my drone smashed into a tree but hey its fun!\

why not cover the underside in solar cells to ud still get alot of energy from em ... also what about piezoelectric power they make pretty small ones u can buy from a company in illinois .. u know mabye in addition to solar? also u had something like the piezolectricy /air electricity harvesting / something fun u could prolly fly it 24/7 at night to! either that or u could get a laser in the right wavelength or modifiy it to be and just shoot it at the plane or quadcopter but prolly be fun challengne to hit the panels on underside... without the laser being robo controlled and synced with ur planes location data
