DMT

DMT is a tryptamine that can be smoked or vaporized with surprising efficiency, ideally in "freebase" form, to induce hallucinations for a relatively short time (less than 30 minutes). It can be found in mixtures of herbs ready to smoke or spray (changa) with random dosages but also in its pure form ("freebase" or "fumarate") on the black market. This chemical is also an important component of "ayahuasca" recipes, one of the most famous entheogens, where DMT is absorbed orally with the combination of an MAOI to limit its breakdown in the stomach.
