* Importance of gate exam:- 

(1) The gate exam is held every year in INDIA .It is held in the Month of February .More than 200000 students appear for this exam . This is an entrance exam for doing masters .If you score good marks in gate there might be chance of getting good colleges for masters.

(2) Now A days if your score 70-80 marks you might also go for PSU sectors.

* Marking scheme in gate:-

(1) Gate consists of 100 marks .Time period is of 3 hours.

(2)It is divided into 3 parts that are General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics and civil engineering.

(3) General Aptitude comes for 15 marks.

(4) Engineering Mathematics comes for 15 marks.

(5) Hight weightage that is from Civil engineering that comes for 70 marks.
