Neolithic culture
It is said that one of the most important example of cultural advances happened from the concepts of Neolithic culture. It was the introduction of Neolithic era which started back in 3000B.C in approximation, which has led to the existence of previous cities such that we have seen primarily in Egypt, India and Mesopotamia. The whole concept was firstly characterized from the adaptation of agricultural livelihood and then shifting to a mere survival for a better livelihood by hunting and gather of food.
The way we live today, forming a society and living along with other people in towns and cities, being protected by law and eating food that is grown in farms, is all considered to be the result from the Neolithic culture. If we didn’t have this culture, we would have been more like nomad and not living in one place more than a few months. This is because the main aim of living in multiple places over the years is because of how we search for food. Before the Neolithic culture was adopted, people did not have any procession worth mentioning about. There was no comfortable houses or friends and lots of food to live with. Survival was basically through search for land of food and then move to another sector when they run out of it. It was a waste of time invested and also the energy building structures in places they thought they would never return again.
One of the most important features of Neolithic culture was the development of institutes. Institutions are defined as a society or an organization that serves to help a group of people of a similar religion, social need or educational for the people with similar purpose and that is to fulfill the need of a group of similar minded people. An institution is made up of systems which includes customs, laws and regulations, code of conduct and rules, a physical existence of a building, tools and devices and equipment for communications.
One of the most important form of institution is family. Family existed in all sort of Neolithic culture. It evolved through the changes and adopted a variety of forms and functions. The second form of institutions that exist is religion. Religion is a sense of power outside themselves that people can depend on which also gives them a moral sense of understanding of power if there is anything against the law that the religion believes in. Spiritual acts like the rain dance or worship in temples before rain are mostly rituals because in the early times, human beings were very much dependent on nature for rain fall for instance. They believed that if these rituals were not celebrated, there would not be any rain fall during that session. There was also an element of fear in religion that made a difference. Fear of crossing a dangerous river is one way of placing it. Unless the person does not pray for success, the fear of crossing the river will exist. It is the belief and the desire for external phenomenon power that always makes few go away.
