WHY I AM POSTING THIS AGAIN . ....

in #education7 years ago

A USER, I WON'T MENTION HIM JUST FLAGGED MY POST FOR NO REASON.

I DON'T KNOW WHY HE FLAGGED MY POST WITHOUT ANY REASON.

THERE WAS JUST A SENTENCE WHICH I MENTIONED WITH THE SOURCE AND NOTHING ELSE.

I AM VERY DEPRESSED WITH THIS SO I AM POSTING THAT POST AGAIN SO YOU GUYS DON'T MISS WHAT I WROTE.

**HEADING:- ** What I am learning Right now ??? Do read you may learn something new !!!

BODY :-

I HAVE A SUBJECT NAMED INS(INFORMATION AND NETWORK SECURITY)

IN THIS SUBJECT WE LEARN ABOUT SECURITY OF NETWORKS AND INFORMATION AS THE NAME SUGGESTS.

WHAT I AM LEARNING TODAY IS MONO-ALPHABETIC CIPHER(ENCODING STUFF SO NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND IT OTHER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD UNDERSTAND IT).

This cipher is of the type called "Substitution".

That means that it will substitute the words in the original text with some other text and encrypted message will be form.

Things to note down :-

Plain Text:- This is the text that needs to be encrypted(the stuff which no one can read).
Cipher Text:- This is the text we get after we encrypt the Plain Text.

Here is a fun image to look at, if you are getting bored. It is about the ongoing show named Dragon Ball Super and it is super popular and awesome. Do watch it if you are interested in TV shows.

Now back to the topic.

What is Monoalphabetic Cipher?

A monoalphabetic substitution cipher, also known as a simple substitution cipher, relies on a fixed replacement structure. That is, the substitution is fixed for each letter of the alphabet. Thus, if "a" is encrypted to "R", then every time we see the letter "a" in the plaintext, we replace it with the letter "R" in the ciphertext.

Source of the above definition is:- This_Site

Lets take an example,
Plain Text :- "Hey Follow me"
Monoalphabetic Cipher Text :- "Ifz Gpmmpx nf"

I hope you have guessed what I have done. It's simple right. That's why this cipher is known an the simplest Substitution Cipher.

For those who are still living in a parallel world, here I have replaced each character with the next character coming in the alphabetic sequence i.e H replaced by I.

IMP NOTE :-
This is not the only way you can do ciphering, you can skip two characters or develop a logic that you like but the letter you substitute must be in alphabetic if the Plain text is alphabetic. Similarly if the Plain text is numeric or special character then the Cipher Text Should also be numeric or special character respectively.

Well that's all about this.

If you want to learn more than google is always online.

HERE THE POST ENDS

I HOPE RESHARING OD THIS KNOWLEDGE IS WORTH IT AND YOU LIKE THIS.

AND THE GUY WHO FLAGGED MY LAST POST, I APOLOGISE TO YOU AND PLEASE DON'T DO THIS AGAIN.

hi,, thnx , sounds good and I think it will be intresting,, but I have a question,, I checked " hey fallow me " in the source site and when I clicked on Encrypt,, the Decrypt text was : " SVB ULOOLD NV " and it was deferent than you typed,,, I think you just wanted to take an example maybe, yeah??
I mean this letters are fixed forever and for example always and forever " a "means "z" ,, right ?

ohkk, I understood what confusion you have with this.

There is a key for every encrption. if the key you usednis different than mine then you will grt different answer.

Just search about it more and you will find a lot of new things and types of encryption.

EVERY DIFFERENT ONE WILL GENERATE A DIFFERENT CIPHER TEXT.

Resteem this post if you liked it and also tell your friends about it.

Actually I like it
