Disruption of Education

Our objective with the disruption of education is to first ensure we start with a fundamental principal that we have to accept whatever input we are given. We must continue our hyper-inclusion and have no fees, no application process, no criteria for inclusion except to exist. In our process, from the individual perspective, we aim to produce happy, free, healthy and fulfilled people who are skilled in things they are interested in.

We will also continue our pattern of creating our project based innovation to help foster skills and interests, but also leverage the requirement for continual learning and relationship building. We will use our models of progression to help ensure people are progressing toward a goal that is appropriate for them. We will use our entrepeneurialism models to help people understand how they can monetize their projects and education to fund their future happiness. We change the model of reading, writing and arithmetic to WRACE:

W - Writing
R - Reading
A - Arithmetic
C - Coding
E - Entrepreneurialism

We also believe that a natural focus on STEAM will occur.

Besides the output of happy, free, healthy and fulfilled people, we will also create happy, free, healthy and fulfilled communities. We will create companies, projects for the community, and research. The companies will help fund our future, the projects will attract talent, and the research will be used to grow the system.

We have some fundamental beliefs:

  • We can remove all boundaries that define success and failure and eliminate the very concept of failing
  • We believe that if the student does not learn, then we do not teach, and from that we must learn

Our disruption of education is ongoing and we are focusing in 2018 on working with at least 10 students who are struggling with traditional learning (though we will take anyone too) and try to get them to reach a personal goal of happy, freedom, health, and fulfillment.
