Implosion of "college" in a Technologically Exponential world?!?

In 2030, a 4-year college degree is predicted to cost $200,000+; disruption of the current college infrastructure seems inevitable. I hope to prepare children for a technologically exponential future by sharing tested techniques to improve children's ability to recognize self-potential & build resilience.
Increased amounts of rapid change can feel overwhelming, but so does preparing our children using outdated techniques provided by institutions with skyrocketing costs. I envision "college" becoming a form of immersion learning with personalized, interactive environments based skills not semesters. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Everthing is business in modern world. Education has lost its purpose. It has become a tool of earning for many. Courses are being designed in such a way that they may create a workforce to run big corporation's business smoothly.

I feel education is evolving... And self learning is setting the pace, the internet having a large role to play in this evolving sector of life. I know the future has a lot to show technologically. And everyone will get roped in, and adapt, wether we want to or not... Its either evolve or dissolve.
