REFLECTION OF A TEACHER

A Teacher is a meritorious figure. If there is a teacher position as someone whose job as a teacher is certainly not wrong, but only teacher placement is only one of the profession in life that is not wise. If you see a martial arts film, a disciple who wants a martial arts science qualified must travel a winding journey so he can meet the right teacher and magic mandraguna. Not just anyone can learn with the teacher. The position of the teacher is very high and his knowledge is very limited. Then how is the current teacher position?

Of course, if the experience as a teacher, my journey is still very short and many of my seniors who can tell a lot more like their sorrow as a teacher. Being a teacher as a profession may be easy, be able to study at Campus Teacher Training or Non Teacher Training and then apply for work in educational institutions. Once accepted then the position as a teacher has been obtained. Is that all? Not as easy as imagined, because the existing lesson on campus is not necessarily in accordance with learning activities conducted in the classroom and daily activities at school.

Being a Teacher does not mean stopping learning. Being a teacher means a man sodaqoh himself to always actively learn and information in order to provide enlightenment and intelligence for the learners. I feel that what I read on campus does not have too much contribution to the learning activities in the classroom and the daily activities at school. I feel more learned when I'm in the world of work.

After several years of graduating from college and starting to teach honestly I feel still far from the ideal expectations of a teacher. I feel very salute to those who have been serving for decades and continue to serve until now and still eager to inspire the learners in school. My sense of salutation grows bigger when it comes to the teachers who used to guide me in school.

It seems only yesterday I was motivated to the spirit of curiosity, and now I am in their position, trying to make the students I teach can be motivated. It turns out educating is not easy.

Teaching may be easy but educational, the difficulty is overwhelming. It takes extra patience, because not everything that we think is good is uncertain either according to the disciples, we think important is not necessarily important for the students and so on. It is also important to be a good model for the disciples, because surely they see and check the same between what is said by us and what is done. In addition teachers should prepare students for the exact different timeframes that they will face in the future.

As professionals as mandated by Law no. (2) have a professional commitment to improve the quality of education and (3) to set an example and guard the education system the good name of the institution, the profession, and the position in accordance with the trust given to it.

Of course very beautiful what is expected by this Sisdiknas Law. But the struggle for teachers to provide meaningful, fun, creative, dynamic and dialogical education is something that needs to be done. To be creative a teacher should always seek new breakthroughs for the world of education, especially for learning activities in the classroom.

In order for the dialogue room to be open, a teacher should always try to position himself as an active listener rather than an active speaker. It is not easy to do what is expected by this regulation. Of course what is expected by the rules in the Sisdiknas Law is something ideal. The learning process endlessly has to be done. The teacher should always upgrade himself to be better and of course his estuary can provide enlightenment to the learners.

The students we face are superior human beings who have a variety of intelligences. Change the moment in various life lines. Change is a necessity, then the teacher must respond to any possible changes that happen every time.

Being a teacher is a pride for having the opportunity to change the nation's generation for the better. As Nelson Mandela reveals, "education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." So be proud as a teacher, for we have the opportunity to change the world.
