Strategies for Building Communication in Learning
A dreaded teacher is basically considered unsuccessful in running effective communication, because without good communication, the harvested results will also not be satisfactory.
There are at least five strategies that can be developed in an effort to create effective communication in learning or teaching and learning process, as mentioned below:
Respect
Communication must begin with mutual respect. The presence of the award will usually give a similar impression of the recipient of the message. Teachers will successfully communicate with learners if they do it with respect. When this is done then learners will do the same when communicating with the teacher.Empathy
Empathy is the ability to place ourselves in situations and conditions that others face. The primary requirement of empathy is the ability to hear and understand others, before being heard and understood by others.
A good teacher will not require the learners to understand his wishes, but he will try to understand the students in advance. He will open a dialogue with them, also hear their grievances and hopes. Here it means that a teacher not only involves the indrawinya component, but also involves the eyes of his heart and feelings in understanding the various things that exist in the students.Audible
Audible means "audible" or well understood. A message must be delivered in a manner or attitude acceptable to the recipient of the message. Bright faces, good body language, polite words, or way of pointing, including into audible communication.Clear the meaning
The message conveyed must be clear and meaningless, and should not be overwhelming, but should be open and transparent. When communicating with learners, a teacher should try to make the message conveyed clear the meaning. One way is to speak the language they understand (looking at the age level).Humble
Humble attitude implies slaing appreciate, not look down, gentle, polite and full of self-control.
