The rules of eating drinking in Islam
O my son, if you want a healthy life born inward, avoid all sickness, do not fill your stomach with just any food. Eat when you feel hungry and stop before it is too full because the Messenger of Allah. It has been said: "It is not the son of Adam (human) to fulfill a container that is worse than fulfilling its food container (its stomach)." (Hadith Imam Ahmad, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah and Hakim from Miqdah bin Ma'dikariba).
O my son, if you want to eat, wash your hands first, read "Bismillah" begins to eat you. Do not swallow your food before chewing it so it is soft, because it helps the digestion of food, and eat closest to you, do not reach out to take food away from you, because that is a disgraceful act.
O my son, do not do the deeds as do people who are morally despicable and contemptible in the eyes of men, that you do not eat in the middle of the market or eat while walking even if only snacks. Because it thus removes the nature of wara '(in his knowledge) and makes himself humiliated.
O my son, stay away from ginger (miser), and greedy. When you sit down to eat, there is someone you have, whether you know it or not, invite him to eat with you, if your food is left, leave it to the poor. And do not be ashamed to give that little charity, for that little (though little) is very meaningful to the poor. And if you give alms to a poor person, you should never include the contempt shown to him, do not follow your alms with words that hurt the man you give alms: "Good speech and forgiveness is better than the alms accompanied by something that hurt the recipient. "(Surat al-Baqarah: 263)
Therefore, keep your charity not to be known to others, because actually the alms sirri (in secret) it extinguishes the wrath of Allah swt.
"Verily, the alms in secret can wipe away the wrath of Allah" (Hadith History of Thabrani, in the Book "Mu'jamul-Kaibil" from Muawiyah ibn Haidah)
O my son, do not eat and drink with a dirty drinking utensil, because it will bring disease to you, which may be difficult to cure. And drink clean water, if you want to drink, read "Bismillah". Do not drink at a time a glass of water, drink little by little, preferably one glass repeated three times each time separated by reading "Bismillah". When you have finished eating and drinking, read "Alhamdulillah" (All Praise belongs to God) who has fed you and drank. Bring on the blessings He has bestowed upon you, countless. It is Allah Who gives you guidance and help.
