REVOLUTION IN EDUCATION

I wrote an essay about my dream education system and want to show you this

You can’t think a World without Education, Education is the most important thing in the world. It starts from the day we born and goes onto the day we die. But where does it start? And how should it be? Education starts with family and after then schools take the job. And Teachers become the headchefs. This job is the most important thing for a person’s life so it’s also important for a country. Albert Einstein once said ; ‘’Everybody is a genius But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid ‘’ Not only does he make fish climb trees but also makes them climb down… and do a 10 miles run. This shouldn’t be our system.

First of all, We need Money to improve the quality , So I would talk with the all members of the parliament, I would warn them as soon as possible. I will ask all the ministers that How much Money we can use for Education and how can we increase this expendituare on education And then I would go to TV shows and tell our people that we need Money to improve our Education. This is going to be a huge revolution . I would take any help I can take. There are 70.000 schools in Turkey I would double this and employee more Teachers and I would take only the most qualified teachers which includes Foreign ones. More schools mean less students in the classrom which is pretty good thing for quality.

Secondly, Pre-primary schools and basic education are the corner-stones of the pupils’ education lifes. Pre-Primary schools should be free and obligatory , and all students are going to be equal regardless of their economical background. Government will supply everything what a student needs and there is no Homework until 4th grade because they are still children and they have to learn the nature by watching , observing and touching , namely experiencing it. Unlike the Turkish students of today , Students will be crazy about going to school. They are going to taste the joy of learning a new thing and learning a second language is going to content integrated education, so with these system students aren’t going to feel as if they are learning new language.

After that,Students will continue their life with higher education(upper and Universities) High school and university is optional. If the students wants to go to school, He is going to go to high school but only the best ones will be able to go to university. There are two types of universities , vocational and academic ones. After high school, to enrol a university, there will not be a special exam. Every student will apply with their diploma degree to the universities they want. The reason why there isn’t any exam is that students study in the departments that they want and these departments prepare them to their jobs so they will be successful. For our universities and high schools we will make new contacts with european countries to make new agreements and we will develop it. And there is another problem in Turkey ; having lots of university I would close down all private universities because they aren’t for education They were built to earn money and also I would close down the half of the state universities. Quality is our KEY

To sum up, I did a background on Education in Turkey. It made to train people to work in factories which explains why it put students in a straight rows(nice&neat),told them sit ,raise your hand if you want to speak, give them a short break to eat for 8 hours a day told them what they think But today we don’t need to make robot zombies, The World has progressed and we need people who think creatively,innovatively,critically,independently with the ability to connect, Every scientist will tell you that two brains aren’t the same and every parent with two or more child will confirm that claim so please Turkish old education system treats students like cookie cutter frames or snapback hats. If a doctor prescribed the exact same medicine to all of his patients The results would be TRAGIC so many people would be more sick. When it comes to school this is exactly what happens one teacher stand in front of 20 students (40 in Turkey) each one having different strengths, different needs and you teach the same thing and the same way? That’s horrific! I mean teachers have the most important job on the planet yet they are under-paid and Teachers should earn just as much as doctors because a doctor can make heart surgery and save the life of a kid but a great teacher can reach the heart of that kid and allow him to truly live. And the problem is they work in a system without many options or rights. The curriculums are created
