Fast Curious Facts #19 Dense and Badass Motherfuckers
Hey, hello, yes I'm talking with you babe, you know there's a magical place, a wonderful place where we, you and I, can be together, yeah, only you and I, as close as the laws of physics make it possible, so close that OUR FUNDAMENTALS PARTICLES ARE SQUISHED TOGETHER DEFYING COMMON SENSE AND MAKING US A NEW STATE OF MATTER!!! YEAAAAAAAAH THAT PLACE ARE NEUTRON STARS BABY WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

You think our puny little star the sun you guys is hardcore because it burns your skin on the beach? Well Neutron Stars are the badest motherfuckers on our neighborhood, these are produced when a star dies and goes supernova it blows up and its core is massive enough to compress the component of atoms the nucleus and its surrounding electrons together, forming a super dense ball of neutrons the mass of a star but the size of a little city capable of the most extreme shit in the universe!
First, Neutron Stars are dense AF, a little cube of Neutronium the material a neutron star is made of can have a mass of 400.000.000 tons... that's a lot, and they spin fast, the fastest neutron star spins at a fifth of the speed of light it's funny because it makes it look like a partially squished ball and that's not all, they have an extreme magnetic field, an average neutron star can have a magnetic field several trillion times stronger than our sun... Yep, extreme!
And if that wasn't enough, neutron stars split into two mind-crushing categories, the first are PULSARS, neutron stars that spin so fast that their also spinning magnetic field produces twin beam of energy that can be detected from lightyears away and are so regular that are used as clock and MAGNETARS, that name is pretty metal neutron stars with an unnatural strong magnetic field even for neutron stars, in 2004 we detected a disruption in earth's magnetic field and the blinding of several scientific satellites, later it was confirmed that the source was magnetic flare from a magnetar 50 THOUSAND LIGHT YEARS AWAY!!!
