Well shoot, I just live a couple hours north of Atlanta. Your buddy @chekohler dropped your name in a contest I'm running. I'm a tech guy too. I'll try to check out some of your stuff as time allows.
Another community you might check out is #steemstem there are quite a few people who follow that tag. I have a feeling you would have some who would have checked out this post if you used that tag.
@coinsandchains thank you the tip will add it next time. I will be doing travelling between South Africa and USA as year progresses. If you have an interest into what we do send me message and ill try to get some hardware sent your way to play around.

I've been helping a marketing friend of mine install and configure a digital signage system using Raspberry Pi devices and flat screens in an elderly apartment complex. The connectable boards in your post remind me of them...
Which digital signage option did you end up going with, I have played with a few myself but never found quite what I was looking ?

lol, It's sort of a homegrown system.... basically built with Raspberry Pi boxes with HDMI and network cables, they all just basically mirror a pc in their office.
