22may 1472 pashto birth was named as farid khan, born in India , who defeated humayun in 1540 and established suri empire in northern india. sher shah suri in 1537. when humayun was on a far - off mission ,sher shah captured begal and established suri bansh .in1539 ,sher shah won. 1540 ad in may sher shah defeated humayun and forced India to leave and took the title of sher khan to establish his empire over northern india. sher shah suri wqs a skilled military leader ,a long with a qualified administrator ,and created administrative structure .
