Game Relationship With Child Creativity

As the development of the times and technology, models of children's games have experienced increased rapidly enough so that happened the shift model children's games from the traditional type of game has been switched to the modern game. In the past, children aged 2 years 4 years would really like playing dust, toys car and some kind of other games. However, in line with technological developments, not least early childhood who prefer playing games on an android mobile phone, play and watch TV. Recognized or not that the modern game has stolen the attention the child so that the traditional game will be abandoned gradually.

Therefore, the attention of the parents become very important because the game is not all positive impact on the development of motor and physical. Most games will have an impact is thus not good for their health. Early childhood we recommend a lot more physical activity than play and watch TV and play games on Android or other devices because of the games that involve physical activity can be beneficial to children. Among other things:

  1. Stimulating the five senses of the child functions, for example, toys with sound Toys with toys with various textures (smooth/rough)
  2. Improve dexterity, for example: train your child to crawl, walk, run, jump and play ball.
  3. Increasing the intelligence of language, for example, Puzzle, compile and tabak, beams images.
  4. Increase social interaction between a child with a parent or friend.

Some scholars of education include Plato, Aristotle, and as well, consider that the activity of the play as an activity which has practical value. They argue that the play is used as a medium to strengthen certain skills and abilities in children. Although the activity of playing is spontaneous and free activities undertaken for the pleasure it evokes without considering the end result, but the play itself has many positive benefits for children that is, among other things:

  • For the development of the physical aspects: children have the opportunity to do an activity that involves body movements that make the body healthy and the muscles of the body to be strong
  • For the development of fine motor and rugged aspect: in the play needed coordination and movement of the body (hands, feet, and eyes).
  • To the development aspects of emotion and personality: with the playground can release the tension that makes children become more relaxed.

Four reasons why the development of creativity is very important, namely:

  1. With the creative, people can manifest itself as an expression of the self is one of the basic necessities of life. According to Maslow (Munandar, 1999) creativity is also a manifestation of a person who is fully functional in the embodiment of himself.
  2. It creativity as the ability to see the possibilities to solve a problem is a form of thought which until recently still gets less attention in formal education. More students are required to think in a linear, logical, reasoning, memory or knowledge demanded answers most appropriate against a given problem. A creative attitude that demands creativity of the individual itself needs to be nurtured to train thinking supple (flexibility), smooth (fluency), native (originality), elaborate (elaboration) and reformulated returns (redefinition) which is a feature of creative thinking advanced by Guilford (Supriadi, 2001)
  3. Many of physical movement yourself creatively is not only useful but also give satisfaction to the individual.
  4. Creativity allows improving the quality of human life.
    An expert in child education named Montololu (2005:1.15) said that the benefits for the children loved playing attitude is as follows: (a) the Play sparked the creativity of children, (b) play a useful intellectual brainchild, (c) play a useful tackling the conflict for children, (d) Play is beneficial to train empathy, (e) Played useful sharpening the five senses, (g) Play it does the discovery.

Thus, it is understood that the play can spur children to find ideas and using power audiences and simultaneously can trigger creativity and play and help with the development of cognitive and contributed to the development of intellectual thought or intelligence by specifying the path to the various experiences which naturally enrich the child's way of thinking.
