Mutual empowerment: A Guide to Making the BEST of your DAY
There are thousands of books out there on creating the life you want to live on your own terms. What I want to do here, is create a sort of guide and community where we can put together all the wisdom and knowledge we come across. This will be all information that can help one become the best YOU, and will empower one to really go after a passion with full force.
CAN WE REALLY HELP ONE ANOTHER ACHIEVE OUR DREAMS?
I think it's more than possible. Between all of us who have read self-help books and have had experiences that prove that dreams do come true, we can create a hell of a community. Perhaps we need to find an existing group to join, that is already on the same frequencies. @naturalmedicine is such a group actually, and so is @ecotrain. I have been a member of these two communities for a long time, but I find myself lost in all the different ways to communicate with one another and I think I try to involve myself in too many different projects, spreading myself thin… With that comes the real life aspect of involving myself in too many things too!!!
So, I would like to start by introducing you to a series of posts I am working on to help you find freedom. Though the word has a lot of different definitions and perspectives, what I am talking about is the freedom you inherently feel, something that comes from the gut. That feeling can be identified by the lack of certain freedoms we all have in our lives. We will never go back to living like hunter-gatherers, like the animal we once were. That life is mostly romanticized, but in reality, probably came with a lot of violence and lack of comfort. Try building an off-grid lifestyle from the ground up, and let me know how it feels.
THERE ARE TWO MAIN THINGS YOU MUST CHANGE:
1- YOUR MINDSET
2- YOUR DIET
It’s easy to say these things, a lot easier than done. The mindset is one thing, it takes practice, and diligence. There are exercises that can help with that. As for the diet, it’s difficult because of the lives we lead. It depends on where you live, where and how you work. It depends on your surroundings.
START LOOKING INTO CRITICAL THINKING
It’s the questions you ask that help form our logic. Asking yourself questions as to why certain responses are reactionary while others are not. Recognizing when you are triggered, then asking yourself why you were. It’s also important to think critically when taking in information. The media lately has been using a lot of tricks to make us not question them… When there is a change in the political side of things, if that effects your day to day living, ask yourself why an and figure out a way around it. That’s a the agorist mindset. There are many loopholes waiting to be used!
AS FOR DIET, IT’S A TOUGH ONE!
There are a lot of factors that can make changing your diet difficult. One is to agree on which diet is right for you, the second is going through the decision to change and the third is to actually sticking to it! The main thing is that (if you believe in evolution) we did not evolve to digest grains… it’s probably what we eat the most these days!
Anyhow, this post isn’t much of a guide on how to live your best life, but a preliminary for what’s to come, and what I’d like to see be developed here on the hive blockchain.
