You want peace?
You want love?
You want harmony?
Yet, you are not willing to sacrifice that bit of ego
Wars, terrorism, crime and hate
Weapons, intolerance, shootouts and insanity
What is the root cause of it all?
Is it desire
Is it ego
Is it jealousy that blinds your inner eye
Why be like a parasite
If you want to succeed, work hard
If you want peace, start by being humble yourself
If you want respect, give it to others first
Remember 'charity begins at home'

If the countries which invest heavily in military expenditure were to give up half the amount to philanthropic causes, there certainly would be less chance of war.

For a moment, let us imagine that all leaders agree. They would then form a group which would be responsible for allocating funds after a firsthand report. People need money, of course and therefore would think of means to get money from the leaders rather than train to be a bomber. When world leaders come together and work towards a noble cause, where is the need for warring factions? The idea of war would soon be a thing of the past.
