RE: The Medicine That FINALLY Stopped Reflux
My wife has terrible GERD, I'll have to show her this article and see if she could give it a try. It does sound reasonable, I've actually read a lot about fecal transplants in my clinical practice as a nurse, so urine seams pretty reasonable too.
Hi Phil! Thanks for your comment. How long has she been suffering with it? For me it was over 25 years of varying levels of terrible, now I'm doing the happy dance finally at age 60! It's funny about the fecal transplants, my wife is a medical research administrator (hates it by the way) and has processed grants for studies of that exact procedure several times. Apparently the results of the studies are rather amazing.
In any case, PLEASE get your wife a copy of Martha Christy's "Your Own Perfect Medicine" as a first read. Christy spends a good bit of time in the opening chapters of the book in allaying all fears of what urine really is, explains her own initial aversion to it, and just puts the reader in a place of comfort in the truth of this amazing, FREE, perfectly unique product of the blood.
Very best of luck, and please let me know if and how it progresses!!! I would LOVE to add additional personal case studies.
All my best,
-Logan
