RE: My journey towards Accepting and Honouring My Emotions- EcoTrain Question of the Week (How open are you about your emotions to other people?)
beautiful rich and honest post dear. <3 <3 <3 it's a travesty that so many are brought up the way you were... it's devastating that kids are brought up with so much fear and abuse when there is so much potential for love and connection, but i know there are long histories which perpetuate that.... such a powerful testament you are that you are healing from this and breaking the cycle! your heart and self is so strong, i can see that through your writing. you are living proof that an upbringing does not determine a life.
I think it is important to keep some emotions to yourself, their is a huge difference between holding in emotions and keeping them to yourself. I can still acknowledge and honour my emotions, I do not need to share them with others.
this i think is a most important distinction and one i have come to as i reflect upon my own connection with my emotions/sharing them with others. much love to you and i agree, women's circles are truly so healing... we need them in these times. <3
thank you Wren, we are in control of our own destines for sure. Much love to you too xxx
