The Frog of Change

I have seen lots of changes obviously in the last ten years and in answering this question I would like to focus on changes which for me all come under a common theme, decentralization and individualisation.
The driving forces behind those topics are obviously technology, but also, and even more important, a shift in consciousness, because all improvements, all manifestations in the material world start from thoughts, and in order for minds to think those thoughts, there must be a certain kind of consciousness.

I think in the last ten years there has been some awakening going on among people, like a second renaissance, this time not against the progress and science hindering manifestations of religion, but against the manifestations of government, rule of force, central banks, fiat money, against all those things which serve only a few and enslave the rest.

It´s called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe in it.
George Carlin

Let´s take our very own steemit hero Dan Larimer for example. In a nutshell he describes his work as “creating decentralised applications to make governments obsolete, to overcome rule of force in a non-violent way“. While I guess you can all see the beauty and brilliance behind this, at the root of this is a certain kind of consciousness which allows Dan to have those thoughts in the first place.

That´s what I mean with shift in consciousness, more and more people start to understand that they are not much more than voting, working and consuming cattle, destined by the old paradigm to live a life according to the rules of the matrix and the ruling class, and are looking for ways to break out of that prison, which is first of all a prison of their own mind.

Then technology comes in and helps them to break out.
Never before in human history have the possibilities been so endless for the prepared mind. The internet allows you to found a business with minimum initial costs, compared to the old brick-and-mortar businesses with all their overheads, rules and regulations. Thanks to the internet you can now connect with people all over the world, you have the knowledge of the world at your fingertips and you can find customers all over the world. If your product is not physical but digital, you don´t even need physical interactions with customers and/or transport companies any more, you can send your product to any computer in the world and if your customers agree, you could be even paid in Steem or other cryptocurrencies, and depending on your jurisdiction, the taxman has no way of finding out what you just did there, or even better, does not care, because he is not concerned with income from abroad.

So if you live in a country where you don´t like the conditions, rules and regulations, there is the possibility to move to another jurisdiction, where you are treated better.

For the greatest part of human history people worked for themselves or in small units, then capitalism and industrialisation came along, and people started to work in ever bigger companies and organisations, for the sake of efficiency centralisation set in, indivduals became the work force, more and more robotlike, until they became replaced by better, by real robots, computers, technology in general.
And now, with the latest change, blockchain technology, a lot of those white collar robots, bankers, lawyers, media people might lose their jobs too.

Then I think, any kind of big scale production and services, so all this stuff with no soul, will be fully automated, digitized, blockchained, larimered, whatever we will call it then, and the best way for humans to make a living would be to go back to the field where humans excel, individual expression and services in form of art, therapy, coaching, teaching, nurturing, supporting, all those things, humans do anyway, because it is a normal part of human interaction, but now that´s the one field which is left for humans, because all those other things can be done better by technology anyway.

Depending on your belief system this can sound frightening or liberating, but I think that´s where we´re headed, decentralisation and individualisation, making government and rule of force obsolete in the process, hopefully without much suffering and violence during the transition period.
The ruling class won´t go down without a fight, but if more and more people awake, have this shift in consciousness and begin to see the utter madness and ridiculousness of our current systems and arrangements, the ruling class won´t stand a chance.

Such a beautiful post.thanks for inspire us.hope everyone will be like it and inspire on this post.keep it up.thank you.go ahead

Yes, yes. It all begins with the consciousness!!

I just see that we think alike :) Great minds....😉

Takes one to know one! 😘

You say the ruling class won't go down without a fight, but I think the reality of what your saying is that we should just get on with creating our own economy, our own self rule, our own stuff. What happens when we ignore the systems that try to control us and just get on with our lives, making our own worlds? It's the only way to be.

Yes you´re right, we just need to create our own world.
But as you can see in many areas, crypto regulation is one for example,
the ruling class does not want to give up control over us easily and crypto and all its implications is just at the beginning, wait till they really feel threatened.

Yep i was having a moments optimism!

I feel the awakening in myself and so many others. There is hope. It probably won’t be a pretty transition, but i believe it is possible.

Yes, I think so too.
