ecoTrain QOTW - I'm SUDDENLY president of the USA - now WTF are my FIRST executive orders??
Ha! This is a JUICY query...
Background: here in the USA, currently known as trump-istan and pronounced "Amerka," the unadulterated shid-show in terms of politics, policy, and the utter disregard for humanity, environment, climate, inequality, etc., makes for a huge list of Day One options!
Gotta clean up what you you left behind before you can move forward!
I'll start with a solid dose of KARMA. My first order is to call for spot elections (yup, never had them b4) on EVERY senator who calls his/herself republican. And this spot election is open to a NATIONAL vote, where ALL eligible voters in federal elections can place a vote for all the GOP senators in Congress.
Basically, California and New York voters will eat red-state voters for breakfast! And remove all scum-sucker pols who knuckled beneath donald dotard.
Phase II of executive order #1 will be to repeat process on House of Representatives.
Phase III of executive order #1 will be to ABOLISH the Electoral College and make ELECTION DAY a FEDERAL HOLIDAY, most likely by eliminating Columbus Day!
Second executive order will automatically impeach the 2 new justices to Supreme Court. They gotta go, cuz they were handed their seat through the nomination by an illegitimately-elected president and balls-less GOP majority senate.
Third executive order is to publish the tax returns of treason trump. This way, all the dunces who got scammed will see in print what EVERY NEW YORKER with a brain knows of con artist trump.
This will lead, eventually, to the jailing of the entire trump crime family and the ring of scum that has corruptly surrounded them for decades...talk about shid-show!
Fourth executive order is to reinstate ALL Obama-era rules regarding limits on greenhouse gases, drilling for fossil fuels, protections for federal lands and endangered species, AND to humbly request re-entry into the Paris Climate Accord.
It will be a beautiful day in the neighborhood once again!

Fifth executive order is to repeal and reverse the trump tax cuts, as follows:
Corporations revenue taxed at 30%
Individuals earning above $1m taxed at 40%
Individuals earning between $500k and $1m taxed at 35%
Earnings on investment income over $100k taxed at 25%
Payroll tax rate escalates as income escalates. Currently, lower earners pay same rate as multi-millionaires, with inverse (negative) consequences!
A 1-penny fee attached to all stock, bond and derivative transactions, EVERY DAY, EVERY TRADE.
Sixth executive order is to fire the whole cabinet and start over.
Seventh executive order is to set aside $2 trillion of future revenue (generated from the new tax law) specifically for repair/replace/cyber-protection of critical water delivery, road, tunnel & bridge infrastructure, AND the upgrade of our energy grid to run on SOLAR, WIND and other viable energy initiatives.
Eighth executive order is to set aside $1 trillion for revamping EDUCATION and for the drastic reduction of student loan debt.
Ninth and final executive order for my first day in office has 2 parts:
a) begin the process of de-constructing the for-profit healthcare industry and replacing with HEALTHCARE FOR ALL like a true leader nation must have.
b) OPEN THE DAMN BORDERS. Free the dreamers.
I'd say that's a damn good Day One as POTUS!!

Much appreciated! And man, oh man, oh fracking man, we have A LOT of work ahead. Maybe we start with REPLACING all the "man" especially the codger-caucasian mob, and bring in a massive dose, WAVE, of Feminine Energy...'twould be a fine start!

Lovely pic! Feminine energy sure helps... finding balance between the two. Respect for the planet seems like common sense, though.
