new buddy, Australian bush turkey
Bush Turkey in Australia doesn't incubate eggs the way they sit on eggs.
Instead, It's said to cover eggs with the bushes.
It hatches the eggs by the heat generated by composting.
But these days, bush turkey is often seen in residential areas.
Even I meet bush turkey in the parking lot of the shopping center.
I meet often when I walk.
There is no enough pile of bushes around here.
Where do we lay the eggs?
Maybe he lost his nest because of a severe bush fire.
Let's not throw garbage anywhere, but save the Earth with eco-life.

Yes, the bush turkeys are fascinating the way they have worked out a way to free themselves from all that nest sitting!

That's a cool way that it incubates its eggs. I think I've heard about this bird. I saw it on tv in the forest. And it's constantly checking the temperature if the pile right?
So sad that it is losing its home.
