99 reasons why earthships are fuc!*ing awesome: Part #9 Reasons 81-90
Earthship Biotecture has to be one of the least understood sustainable building and living models around. This is not least because they offer SO many benefits that it is hard to even know them all, let alone explain them all! Let it be said that an Earthship can stay at a comfortable climate at even -20 Celsius or 40 Celsius with no power requirements for heating or cooling systems. The systems of an earthship encounter the forces of nature, mainly the sun, rain, and wind, and funnels them into your home to provide everything you need to live comfortably with annual utility bills of around $200 or less. I have been inspired to write this in sections, with you all, and once it is completed I will be compiling it into a single digital and paperback book available to all to learn and be inspired.

ARE WE ALL UNDER INCEPTION ?
Recent definition :
Inception-- n. the creation of new thoughts in a target, which he or she later accepts as his or her own idea.
It came to me the last years that what we called reality, our daily interface with others, is under inception.
Like in the amazing movie from Christopher Nolan.

I gave up....Really??
" Love is like cigarette , after burning it only left ashes.."
Well from last few days I was feeling like something is missing, something I want to express but I don't know what it is..After a cup of coffee and a cigarette, I decided I should write my unfinished thoughts. Few days back I have posted a video called How do you know when it is time to give up on something?... Let's talk about it... which I feel still unfinished or incomplete.

Today my eldest daughter turned 10! What a beautiful journey we have been on these last 10 years. For sure we have had challenging times, but we have both growth so much and learnt so much together.
Exactly ten years ago , I became a mother for the first time. I knew my life was about to change, but I really had no idea how much it would transform me. As women, when we birth our young, we are also re-birthing ourselves. Our new self as a mother. I had read all the books about what to expect about the birth, everything by Ina May Gaskin and Michael Odent . But there wasn't really anything to prepare me for the transition from maiden to motherhood. I did feel very lucky to have had a mother blessing though, to have that transition acknowledged and celebrated, something that is so important and so so necessary.

The Power of Words
WORDS something that we use day in and out, even when we write it's all just words. While I am writing this post it's nothing but compilation of words. They are a part of us and shape us right from the time we are born till the time we die. The words we use build up the trust levels, relationships, loyalty, self-esteem and shapes up our whole personality. Though it is said that only 7% is the verbal communication we make and the rest is non-verbal. But even if it is just 7% it has a very strong impact on our lives and not only our lives also in the universe.

No One Talks About Spirulina - Like Ever!
So I guess I'll have to do it...
Whenever the discussion comes up on how to change our consumer habits to make it more sustainable, one thing that's often suggested is reducing the animal products in our diet, or giving them up completely. This, by the way, is also a great solution to many health problems, not to mention the money spent on food, etc. etc. I'm generally not opposed to a vegetarian or vegan diet (though admittedly I do love bacon, cheese, butter, and the like), but there is one thing that must be pointed out: we need sufficient proteins in our diet to be healthy!
Now social media feeds are abound with vegan memes and info material, mentioning nuts, beans, and mushrooms, among other things, that are rich in protein. Great, I say, but I always wonder: Why doesn't anyone ever mention THE best source of protein, namely Spirulina?

Homeschooling Socialising Myths.
One of the first things that people usually say when you first mention you're considering homeschooling is, “but what about socialising?"
School and socialising
It's a funny thing, really, that we are fixated on the idea that the only place children get to socialise is at school. Yet school, as we now know it, didn't exist a few generations ago. So how on earth did children used to socialise before then?
Admittedly, these days the majority of children are all attending school at certain times of day, so you'd be forgiven for thinking that there would be no-one outside of there for homeschooled children to interact with, but as parents on a local Facebook group for homeschoolers said “if we attended every homeschooling event going, we'd never be at home!"
If your country allows homeschooling, then you can guarantee that there will be other homeschoolers around to meet up with.

No-Effort "First Aid" for Sciatica
Lower back pain and sciatica (inflammation and irritation of the sciatic nerve) are soooo common that my post last week triggered more than a few frantic private message threads, from people 'out there' suffering, and eager for fast, effective and natural relief - preferably without having to spend gerzillions with a therapist they 'can't afford'. Missed that post?? Here it is again. Sciatic Pain: Acupressure - Natural Self-Care Medicine 101

True Permaculture-Episode 3: Companion Planting
Hey there Steemians!!
My name is Cory Bradley, AKA @open3ye and my goal is to open your eye to a whole world of flourishing regenerative abundance!
This is:
Companion planting is a term that is somewhat controversial because there is a lot of misinformation and misrepresentation of what it really is and much of the information out there has no scientific backing and refers to plants as benefiting from the energy of another plant, I.e. Carrots Love Tomatoes.

What Is The Cost Of Lies?
Lies... We all lie at some point either voluntarily or involuntarily and regardless of our intentions, whether good or bad. Lies are usually seen as something bad or immoral, sometimes as a patch that seeks to temporarily seal a problem that is likely to get bigger with time. Every action has consequences, and lies are no exception... What is the cost of lies?
"I'm not going to lie to you", I've been inspired to make this post thanks to the new HBO miniseries about Chernobyl, in which we can see besides a fantastic production, direction and writing, how a lie can literally turn into a death sentence for thousands and a latent threat for tens of millions... I don't want to turn this into a political post, even though we might touch on the subject of "Politicians and Lies" later on. The point is, a lie can be used for evil motives, to cause disasters, for any immoral things in which a lie can be used.

Learning To Love Yourself ❤️❤️ Episode 2 : why do we struggle with self love?
Today we will be discussing Self Love
Why do so many people struggle with loving themselves?
This is a common issue. If you have dealt with it you are not alone.
It is ok.
You are not broken.
There is nothing wrong with you.

Anxiety and Depression. The Harsh Realities.
Recently I've connected with my old school, which is sadly going to be closed at the end of this term. On the group Facebook page, where people are sharing memories and reconnecting, there was also a conversation happening about a funeral for a young man and former student who took his own life. This reminded that my high school teacher's son, who was a bit younger than myself, also took his own life a few years ago.

"Golden Nuggets" Great! Thanks for mentioning me by the way.
Personally I like this type of posts, because that way I can meet new steemians to follow and with it read new interesting content.
To listen or in this case to read other people's opinions, advice, philosophy and to know of experiences is always something positive and therefore welcome.
Greetings and peace!
I missed a few gems and this caught them for me. Thank you.
