Retail apocalypse accelerates in Canada
It seems everywhere you look these days Canadian retail is either struggling or going bankrupt. In this video, we cover some of the retailers already leaving in mass as well as the affect it is having on Pension funds.
Retailers blame stiff competition and a consumer that is just not spending. Others blame the Canadian exchange rate and online sales. One thing is for certain, now that Bank of Canada has made cheap credit less accessible, this crisis can only accelerate.
