America is a country full of immigrants whose priority is working hard to send money to their families at the end of month.

More job opportunities would benefit them in the short term in case of stopping the importation of goods from china. However, in the long term, there would be greater cost in the production of such products as you explained, including also the importation of raw materials. Do you know what products would be the most expensive to produce in the United States in case of the proposed scenario?

I don't know exactly which products would be more expensive but I guess producing more stuff in the US may not result with more jobs, many companies are already considering in investing in robots and automation.. it's too expensive to hire workers in the US
