Peter Schiff asked WalMart customers, whether they would support a 15% hike of WalMart employees' wages. The answer was: yes.

However, when Peter asked for customers' contribution in other to fulfill this aim, the people became less enthusiastic.

The moral of this story is a follows: everybody loves cheap stuff and high wages. However, only under the condition that others pay the price.
