Enough of Passivity: Brazilians Need to React
Enough of Passivity: Brazilians Need to React
Brazil is rich, but Brazilians are exploited. We face an absurd tax burden, rampant corruption, and poor public services. Meanwhile, we accept everything with resignation, as if there were no other option.
Look at the world: in France, the yellow vests stopped the country over unfair taxes. In Chile, the people took to the streets and won changes to the constitution. And us? We stay silent, satisfied with temporary solutions while we are exploited day after day.
Even in our history, there were moments of resistance: Diretas Já, the 2013 protests. But these moments are rare and did not create a culture of permanent demand.
Why do we accept being treated as servants of the State? While we work hard, our politicians accumulate power and wealth. It’s time to say enough. We need to educate ourselves politically, hold our leaders accountable, and take action. It’s not just about protesting, it’s about reclaiming our dignity.
If we remain apathetic, nothing will change. Brazil cannot be governed by fear and complacency. The future is in our hands. Let’s react.
What do you think? How can we fight against this exploitation? Leave your opinion in the comments and be part of the change.
