1. Capitalism has been a complete failure.

The purpose of any economic system is to: sustainably allocate resources in a way that benefits the greatest number of people to bring about the greatest happiness.

Capitalism has proven to be not sustainable; capitalism only benefits the top 20 percent of the population at the expense of the eighty percent. Capitalism fails to make most people happy.
