Economic activities of man can be divided into Four parts_
(1) Primary Activities
(2) secondary Activities
(3) Tertiary Activities
(4) Quaternary Activities

1.primary Activities e.g_fishing,forestry,minning and quarrying
2.secondary Activities _creation of finished products from raw materials e. g. Cloth from cotton,
3.Tertiary Activities _ concern with the sale and use of economic good and service e. g. Retailing, wholesaling and delivery.
4.Quaternary Activities _ enonomic activity concerned with information e. g law, finance, education, research and media.
