Economic Boycott and Climate Change
Currently, one of the most controversial positions related to climate change, is the one referred to the statements that defend the economic sectors, when they express that there is no climate crisis on a global scale, by stating that it is only an infallible conspiracy designed by the People's Republic of China, in the search to boycott the economic growth of the rest of the developed countries.
This judgment, or rather economic discourse lacks scientific inferences, to support this conspiracy theory, however, for their part scientists from various latitudes have been warning for decades, that greenhouse gas emissions will cause serious consequences both environmental and public health, so if we analyze the economic discourse and scientific position, we will find that the warnings that scientists have been giving us, is the only visible and concrete reality in forest fires, cyclones, storms, typhoons, Arctic meltdown, contamination of water bodies, loss of biodiversity, and the appearance of pandemics associated with the detriment of wild niches, being the Covid-19 the most recent viral disease of rapid spread that has been linked to climate change.

Now, if today the Covid-19 is the main battle that we must fight, it is intuitive that we would be making a serious mistake if we do not include as a priority to combat the climate crisis as part of the strategy on the battlefield, because we will never address climate change in a serious way, this because, if we are certainly alarmed by the number of deaths that the Coronavirus has left and continues to generate, but we do not take measures in favor of the environment, consequently we would be assuming that this is false and conspiratorial news, and with this approach we will not succeed in stopping global warming, which will undoubtedly bring new and increasingly deadly pandemics.

Having said this, it is imperative that the States listen to the scientific positions, and leave aside the economic discourse, give priority to international cooperation to definitively promote policies that tend to diminish the constant and terrible environmental deterioration, since nature does not give any truce, and when it strikes it does so as a result of its biological imbalances, and not because of political-economic affinities.
