14 States across the US will be within the area that will experience a total solar eclipse, known as "path of totality", on Monday, August 21st. The rest of us will see varying percentages of a total solar eclipse, based on our hemispherical location:
If you don't have eclipse glasses, because you are like me and despite having the eclipse on your calendar for 6 months, you still failed to plan ahead...
Consumer Reports suggest you try your local scientific supply stores, as well as Warby Parker.
The rest of us plebs can find someone to take care of us when we go blind, or try this wacky option from Nasa:
