Weekly Updates of Electra Back-End [April 16th to April 22nd]

Design & Content:

Working on PowerPoint presentations and materials for upcoming events around the world.
CCW is organizing a weekly meeting and first topic will be about a new announcement rebrand for future releases.
Upcoming projects include marketing material for events, such as business cards, pamphlets, and posters.
Other current projects include creation of roadmap graphics & a graphics library.
Accepting applications for graphic designers, video specialists, 3d animators, creative writers, etc. Contact ECA Link for details.
Communications:

Communications has created the first initial draft of the new Code of Conduct that will be required to be read and signed by each current and incoming team member to the Electra Backend team.
New channel for Communications has been made for strictly posting the minutes of Coordinator meetings.
Digital Marketing:

Digital Marketing has announced a YouTube video contest that will award a bounty prize of an initial one million ECA (which can go higher through donations) to the person that creates the best YouTube video showing the tips and tricks of using the new Desktop Wallet.
Digital Marketing has also been dealing with the usual spam posts on Twitter, so remember that Electra has only one official Twitter account! Any other you see is a fraudulent account and we strongly suggest that you report it to Twitter.
Focused on posting announcements for the updated wallet along with team applications.
Updated the website to reflect the new wallet and Coordinator Maverick has been working on www.WinElectra.com.
Researching other crypto groups on Facebook to start sharing key posts in order to gain interest.
Going over statistical analysis of social media results and efficiency, while looking into other possible media outlets for releases.
Overall social media perception on Electra has been extremely positive. Previously skeptical reviewers have changed their positions to “buy” and “promising”.
Maverick has been appointed as second Coordinator for Digital Marketing.
Finance Pole:

CoinHouse issues discussed within the team. Recommended temporary removal from the website until such time as their issues are sorted out.
Successfully added Electra onto Octaex.
Reached an agreement with Crypto Emporium to be a pay partner for them.
The team is happy to report that Electra’s market capitalization and price is enjoying steady growth.
Public Relations:

Public Relations is accepting applications for new additions the team. Please contact PR Coordinator UnderTow or any global coordinator for details.
PR has been publishing articles on Medium.com: ElectraPay article and Why Choose Electra article
They've been also proofing all outgoing announcements, documents, and tutorials, i.e. desktop wallet, Crypto Emporium, Wallet Set-Up Guide, etc.

Software Development:

The desktop wallet has been released! Developers are incredibly busy addressing all bugs and issues, steadily rolling out updates and improvements.
The team is also working on the upcoming hard fork, which includes getting atomic swaps ready.

Sales Pole:

We’re accepting applications for a new Coordinator to lead this team. Please contact ECA Mom for details.
User Support:

All week they've been concentrated solely on providing user support for the new wallet and putting together a FAQ on how to use it.
Looking to add new members to the team to help with the load. 22 responses have already been received!
That being said, some of the applications submitted may be sent to different teams, where the skills of the applicants may be better suited.
Other Updates:

New Translation team is being created. They will have their own dedicated Discord server to work on
MasterDen has reported that he’s found someone that’s currently working on translating the main website.
In addition, a new member in the main Discord server reached out with a German translation of the white paper.
Renat has come back from the Milan outreach and meetings. He reports the trip was successful and productive.
MasterDen has been appointed to Global Coordinator.
Daily calls for coordinator meetings have been changed to Monday through Friday only now.
Preparation for the next Engineering call has been ongoing.
We’ve begun to develop an onboarding process for each team, to better introduce newcomers into the project.
The Electra Army project has been initiated to help promote Electra on a number of different platforms. For more details and interest in joining, please contact Asmoth.
The use of IRL identification may be implemented to maintain trust with our backend members. Identity of these people will be known only to global coordinators.
