1. EBTC Could Be Confirmed For Kucoin In Less Than 2 Days

Kucoin is currently hosting a vote for a new listing. On the 18/19th of January, when the vote kicked off, it seemed as if Tron might win the race, however Kucoin (surprisingly) overtook Tron in votes. Since then and over the last few hours, the relative gap between Kucoin and Tron has steadily risen.

2. Twitter Sentiment

While some smaller Twitter accounts suspect market manipulation, the sentiment of most seems to be positive. There is a debate around the reason behind Kucoin winning this race over Tron. This is due to the sheer difference in trading volume between Tron and EBTC (Tron = Billions & EBTC = a few Millions). Then again it is likely that many Tron followers/investors aren't deeply engaged with their investment, and with EBTC this situation appears differently. It could be that there is a general consensus in the market about the potential benefits of listing an exciting low-cap project vs a 'perhaps overpriced' project.

3. Price Movement

EBTC is currently trading around 12800 satoshi. This is a gain of more than 120% in the last 24h. EBTC is valued just over $30M.

The EBTC price was immediately affected by information of the potential addition on Kucoin, with close to x4 gains in the last 48h ago. However, as can be seen in the graph below, over the last few hours a breakout occured. Given the uncertainty around the Kucoin addition there could be a buy-in opportunity over the next 24-36 hours. The last major support level will likely be at 7000 satoshi. A stacked purchase from 9.5k satoshi to 7k satoshi should yield positive results if the addition happens. In that case, an opportunity for a partial exit around 18000 satoshi could present itself soon.
