Me too, I just joined. I've been on other writing sites but man oh man, this one is a lot more complicated. Maybe we need a "Steemit for Dutchlings" how-to post somewhere. I intend to make some posts myself since I used to write regularly for sites that either shut down or were too demanding. I'm only on one other now. (from nipponquakewatch)
I agree that new users should be greeted with video tutorial and I hope it will come after rebranding of the site. For someone who's been in crypto for years things here weren't hard to grasp but compared to twitter or other social media services, it can get quite complex.
