Lets Protect Our Earth
Within the cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices, strategic partnerships between schools, obtained through the program "Erasmus", through the National Agency for European Programs and Mobility, part of the team of the economic and legal school "Vasil Antevski-Dren" - Skopje, recently returned from Portugal, where they realized the second transnational meeting with partner schools from other five European countries.
School "Vasil Antevski-Dren" participates as a partner school in the project "There are bins?" Find a Solution! Recycle! ". The aim of this project is to awaken awareness, especially among the young population, that is, students, about the everyday problems that we have with environmental pollution, mainly from industrial pollution and household waste. The team includes students from the first and second year, whose task is to draw a logo for the project, which will be the official symbol of this project for all partner schools from all participating countries in the project. Apart from the students, Aleksandar Kanurkov, the director of the school, Meri Dimitrovska, professor of informatics, Iva Stojanovska-Jakimovski, psychologist, Olga Atanasoska, professor of German language, and Sonja Paneva, professor of Macedonian language and literature, which at the same time is the coordinator of the project.
- Through this project, students get the opportunity to think about these topics, to look for creative ways in which recyclable materials can be used, ie through creative activities, workshops, lectures, actions, the students themselves to find ways that they will use it in a useful and innovative manner consumed materials, thus helping to reduce pollution, which is constantly increasing. Through contact with other cultures, students will have the opportunity to learn more about pollution problems in other countries and how they solve these problems. This increases cross-cultural tolerance and, of course, new future cooperation and partnerships are developing - say the team of "Vasil Antevski-Dren".
