A More Human Question: Can the human race collaborate?

Our current civilization seems disconnected, messy and confused. So I came up with the term "The human dream”, intended to serve as a mental model through which we can transform human perspective, and thereby transform the world.

The world today, especially the 2 billion young people currently on Earth (the biggest generation in human history) are already going through a monumental shift in values that extends their circle of compassion to include everyone on the face of the planet. These emerging values that should be accelerated include:

Then: Our primary concern is amassing unlimited individual wealth and GDP growth for regions and countries

Now: Our primary concern is human quality of life and elevating the human spirit, where everyone has the resources to safely live, learn, heal, play, create and flourish into the best versions of themselves.

Then: We believe we’re separated into several races, that one is better or worse than another simply based on the amount of pigment in the skin.

Now: There is only one race on Earth, the human race. Pigmentation in your skin has nothing to do with your intelligence or your worth as a human being.

Then: Short-term thinking dominates.

Now: Long-term thinking is the new normal. We consider the impacts of our actions and decisions on the younger and future generations yet to be born.

Then: We have the right to do as we like with the Earth.

Now: There is no planet B. So we must behave in harmony with the biosphere by urgently creating new innovative systems and business models for a sustainable production and consumption culture.

Then: We consider women too weak or emotional to deal with the real issues of world affairs and business.

Now: We consider everyone as equals on every level of society because when we work together in synergy, human potential has no limit.

These are just some of the new global values that most young people can agree on with conviction today.

Overall, the "the human dream" is a mental tool for cultivating a fresh worldview not based on separation and isolation, but rather on oneness and interconnectedness to thrust the human species forward into its next evolution.
