Buckwheat Blossoms pt 3

The next place we will go to is the birthplace of Hyo-Seok Lee.
Based on the historical findings of local elders, Lee Hyo-seok's thatched-roof house was restored in 2007about 600 meters below the site of his birthplace in the village.
In addition to being the place of Hyo-seok Lee's birthplace, this location is also a place where you can visit a thatched-roof home and observe how the small rural village of Bongpyeong looked like at the time.

Right next to it is Gasan Park. To honor the literary accomplishments of Hyo-Seok Lee, Gasan Park was created in 1993. On about 1200 pyeong of land, there is a bust sculpture plaza of him.
Above all, we can observe the roughly 60,000 pyeong-wide buckwheat field that appears in the piece 'When the Buckwheat Blossoms' while visiting Gasan Park and his birthplace.
