Municipal Elections in the Netherlands
On 21-st of March there are municipal elections in the Netherlands. This means that all loca and foreign citizens residing in the Netherlands will be able to cast their vote.
There are 13 mainstream political parties and alot of local and municipal parties that will fight for one or more seats in the 'gemeenteraad', the municipal council.
It is very important to use ones right to vote, as the society is moving towards a stage where voting will no longer be a basc right, but a priviledge. If we dont use it, we lose it!
Even thow ones ideeas are not or poorly represented in any of the manifestos of the parties taking part on the elections, I must underline again that it it very important to VOTE.
