Couple in Bed - DuoDraw Monthly Art Contest 1

Hi there. Today I want to share my entry for DuoDraw contest from @hanbun. So, obviously I am taking Ero category because... I dont know why. Drawing couple is good dream for me. I hope I have someone(girl) that share same blanket as me. Hmmm kena tunggu kahwin.

About the artwork:
It actually me and my imaginary girlfriend laying at bed because we are tired and we want to sleep. Don't worry, we did nothing. Everything is under control.

About the artwork v2+2
The drawing is tell a story about young couple that love each other. Laying at the bed together, share same blanket and hold hand. This is the stereotype of couple. So, I am making drawing of typical couple obviously. So I don't have any experience in ero kind of stuff..yeah believe me. Ok that is it, I don't want to discuss about it anymore.

The process

Steching

Everything start with the sketches of the couple. The man is at the left side while woman at the right side because woman is always... okay you know what I meant. I dont want to make a bad pun that I copied from my friend. Hee
The woman is touching his boyfriend head as symbolized of controlling his mind. They are holding hand as symbol of their love is connected. So cliche. Add the blanket because I need to censored it in case steemit will put my post under NFSW.

Coloring

I create my new style of coloring, some part is good, some part is a bit of mess i think. About the hair color. It a complimentary color I guess. Complimentary color is a color that opposite each other in color wheel. The complimentary color also represent as harmony and balancing that I want into the drawing. SO the characters is balance because its compliment each other. I put the red color as sexual passion on it. but i think it is not going to work very well because the a lot of bright color intended. SO I change my plan to put the red color into the line art. And replace the red background color into light blue to represent the sky. The harmony of the sky I guess. Also light blue is bring something relaxing to the characters.
