Europe - Dubrovnik - Croatia

Recently my wife and i went to Europe for honeymoon / vacation. I've been to Europe before but it was the first time for her. Glad i was able to convince her. ;)

For our trip, we picked four different countries to visit and the goal is to visit 9 different cities within 13 days. But because of a delay, we were able to squeeze in another city. So total of 10!!

The first city we visited was Dubrovnik. While planning on the trip, i was debating whether i should stay in a hotel or airbnb. We settled down staying in a hotel. It wasnt that expensive and comparable with Airbnb. Moreover, it was close to the old town. Took us about 15 - 20 minutes to walk. But trust me, the view along the coast was enjoyable.

We stayed in Rixos Hotel Libertas. Here's the view from our hotel room. It's located along to coast, right on the reef with a view of Adriatic sea. Beautiful view.

If you are a fan of Game of Thrones, i'm pretty sure you have heard this city, known as the "Kings Landing" in that series.
Most of the scenes are filmed around the old town, with a lot of CGIs of course. Let me know if you have seen these spots on the series. :) :)

FYI, we went at the end of November which is the end of their business seasons.
The benefits:

1. Less crowded
2. Places are cheaper. So if you book a room in a hotel, you'll likely to get upgraded.
3. If you book any local tour, likely it's just going to be you. In our case, it was just two of us and the guide. So we had plenty of time and you dont need to wait for others.
4. Food price is cheaper (i think, i was not able to confirm most places).
5. If you are traveling to other cities by public transport, there are more space for you. :p

The downsides:

1. The weather was a bit cold and cloudy. The water is cold also, therefore you cant swim.
2. Some places are closed. This will prevent you from visiting places.
