The first weekend of freshman year in college and I barely knew anyone besides one guy from my hometown. He asked me to be his wing man while he went to a girls room to try and ask her on a date. My job? To entertain the roommate.
The roommate and I hit it off immediately and started dating a month later. 10 years later we got married. That night I thought I was going to sit and watch the guy get shot down, turns out it was the most important night in my life.
