🐔 They say Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is the best in Singapore..?
When in Singapore, for you you will need to look for some great chicken rice dish (ข้าวมันไก่สิงคโปร์). They're well known for their Hainanese chicken rice and there we went. One of the famous one at Maxwell Hawker Center close to Chinatown Singapore, 'Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice'. Long line! We waited like, half an hour and we're so excited but ..
It's not what we expected. How come the best chicken rice doesn't taste like the best one I have ever tried.. I personally think it's soggy and the taste was nothing special really.
I have actually talked to myself if there's something wrong with me? Why all the food reviewers love it so much? Mark Wiens.. Mike Chen and all.. I'm just not a fan!
It's probably our own preferences. This one is just not my taste. If you're ever in Penang or Thailand, lemme know! I know some really good ones for Chicken rice! :D

I have had one of the best in Penang actually. Oh oh !! I tried at the big restaurant in Ipoh too! The Penang one was better.
Not sure if I would go back to KL anytime soon but Penang sure soon. And now that I think about it, would trip to Steem trip to Penang work? Would any / a lot of you Malaysians join??? 👀👀👀

I think Tian Tian is a bit over-rated. I will only go when it's off peak and I don't have to join the long queue.

I look this Mark Wiens videos... I was like what he did some year back ... but lot times I not like this every video, that every food he tastes is always so good and he makes eyes very big... he never lets see that food is also bad too :) ... this why I was start feel this man just play and not show us the right thing.
Hahah I actually like the man tho. He's one of my idols in term of content creation and effort - just this one that I don't agree. I don't think it's that good of a taste 😁😁

but at the same time there are always new creators come out who make the same good videos too.
So I think Mark have soon very big competitors at the door. :)
