Mae Hong Son Loop Motorbike Tour Day 2: Doi Inthanon National Park to Mae Chaem, Thailand
The first part of this motorbike tour was posted in DTube yesterday.
We started early at 530am to catch the sunrise at Doi Inthanon National Park. This is Thailand's highest point at 2565m. There is an entrance fee of 300 Baht and some sites have additional entrance fee. Most of the sites we went to are free except for the Twin Pagodas which has an entrance fee of 40 Baht. There are free waterfalls such as the Hua Sai Lueang waterfall
and Mae Pan waterfalls.
We spent most of the day here and continued on to Mae Chaem District on the way to Mae Hong Son capital.
We rented a 125cc at Aya Service in Pai, an older Honda Click for a discounted rate of 140 Baht per day. We previously rented a newer Honda Click but figured their older bikes are in good condition too. It was powerful enough to take us more than 700 kilometers from Pai (via Chiang Mai) to Mae Hong Son and back to Pai.
Day 3 to be continued.
I will be posting a comprehensive blog about our week long motorbike tour in TravelFeed.io soon. For now, enjoy the videos!
