Russian Youtube shows darknet drug store pre-roll advertisement
They started to adverstise darknet drug store in pre-roll section on russian Youtube...
Boi oh boi, what a time to be alive- russian Youtube shows a pre-roll ad of site, where you can purchase some drug for fun- heroin, cocaino, you name it. Yes, #1 video-service, run by huge corporation adversites drugs. And i would recommend you to take out your calculators, folks, since something here doesn't sum up.
Ima paranoic a little, ok? But let me explain, there is a grain of reason. Somehow I have a reason to believe, that government has something to do with this. Lemme explain. Today in Russia there is war. Political. And one of the most useful tools in the hands of opposition has become Internet. They discuss problems, criticisize government- generally, normal democratical activity. Now, in there is a special service, called RosKomNadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media) and a set of totally absurd laws that give this service opportunity to close literally any site, just give reason. Software piracy site- close, wanted to shut down Telegram messenger(because of its anonimity)- and hundreds of less notable examples. Now, advertising drugs is illegal- this ads could see children (since kids watch youtube from parent's accounts). What I want to say is- now Roskomnadzor has a fantastic reason to shut down youtube in Russia, thus making russian opposition silent. Please, how could youtube administration let this happen? Don't they manually watch every ad they are about to launch? Unbelievable...
What do you guys think?
