New phenomena Aphantasia shows that 3 percent of the population have no “mind’s eye”

There seems to be a new phenomena in the world where as much as 3 percent of the population have no “mind’s eye” or ability to imagine anything. That is, they cannot even picture their family members’ faces in their minds. This strange phenomena, called Aphantasia, affects between 1 and 3 percent of the population and was only studied in 2015 by the wider scientific community. I found that strange as well as it seems to be the latest of occurrences recently discovered, one of which was the fact that 26% of the population has no internal monologue.
