What the Heck Is Going On? Worst Jan For Bitcoin?
January 2018 is over. It looks like it was the worst month for Bitcoin and for many other cryptocurrencies. Our Steemit has been hit. Is it time to throw in the towel? Is it time to quit? Is it time to HODL (Hold On for Dear Life)?

Hey Terry, I am just seven months in cryptos with me starting to post on Steemit. In that short time I have seen how the crypto market moves and it looks to me like a push and pull of investing phases and selling phases. We are just seeing the next pull before the next push.
The technology behind it is so revolutionary that it can change the world - particularly Steem as it offers an easy access into the cryptosphere without any investment required. Bitcoin has the strongest name and many others amazing usecases.
That all being said I think there is no way that cryptos in general will fail. Quite the contrary: We will see a fully tokenized world where your refrigerator, your trash and your toilet will generate money because there is value in saving energy, seperating garbage and generating bio energy with human poop. ;)
These coins will not be worth $10.000 (assuming the Dollar still exists in 5-10 years) but even if they are just worth 1 cent they will still be valuable and add up.
2018 will be the year of years for this revolution!

I have to agree with you what you saying about a connected world. I just got back from covering CES out in Las Vegas for the papers where I write. There are a lot of gadgets and Home Appliances that are being connected via the net and The Internet of Things.

Awesome video Terry. The way you communicate with your viewers is great. I think you should make a video for fellow steemians about how to control emotions when cryptos, bitcoin is crashing. I know a lot of people who bought bitcoin when it reached 19000 and then sold it when it crashed and ended up losing money.
People need to know what they are investing in so they don’t become victims of crypto-mania.

Holding on for the long-term makes a lot of sense. Too many people try to get my quickly and they don't do well. Keep up the good work!
I learned the hard way my friend. I would have had well over 200,000 dollars in profits if I had just held without selling. I am sure many people experienced this as well.
