I just need something simple otherwise I'd never do it haha. I've been looking at all manner of configs for a couple of years now and each time I came close to pulling the trigger, a new feature popped up. Cloud Storage, HD Streaming , yady-yada haha. In the mean time I lost one HD that I didn't back up, along with some precious photos. So now the Raid is more important than the other bits and bobs.
ah that makes sense yeah. one thing i'd suggest is backblaze too then, always do backups in three -- local, second storage and in the cloud.
